This collection of 7 custom, yet speculative homes has twice been featured in the Pacific Northwest Magazine, the subject of TV news, awarded a prize by our friends at Built Green (part of the Master Builders of King and Snohomish Counties), and an AIA Future Shack award winner. It has been called a fusion of modern design and organic sophistication, highlighting reclaimed materials and idyllic daylighting. We loved it then as a showcase of what can be, and we love it now because the landscaping is fantastic, the shared pea patch garden is still thriving, the reclaimed bricks add warmth and whimsy, and the custom mailboxes look great. The care and attention that we put into these homes has been fully reciprocated by their careful maintenance and upgrades over the years. The SE corner of 19th and Pine is a true demonstration of what thoughtful urban infill can look like. Completed in 2009.
